Hi
I have this parking sensor kit from www.proxel.com/eps-micro.htm to instal on my Sharan. I just don't know how to take off the rear bumper. I take off the 4 screws on each side on the weel arches but the bumper don't move. Anyone can help?

If it were a gal ....

Detach the tailgate weatherstrip. (3 fixing points)
Detach the wheelhouse liners. inside rear wheelarch 3 screws top, 2/3 & bottom
Remove the bumper nuts I think these are the ones you have removed
Detach the bumper cover side trim panels (wheelhouse liner screws already removed)
Remove the bumper cover support rail trim panels just below light cluster
Remove the bumper cover support rail screw (revealed by removing trim panel).
Remove the bumper and bumper cover.

Basically the trim panels between bumper and lights reveal more fixing points - bumper and cover should rotate up from below

I just did mine without removing the bumper.
Drill the last sensor hole on the right, then with a 10mm drill put
a hole behind that.
Just feed the sensor wires all the way to the right, and through that
hole.
Drill another hole at the bottom of the cubby where the jack is (and
the wiring loom you will be tapping off of) and drop the wires up through
that hole, bingo.
Maybe considered a bodge by the pros, but works for me.

I know this is a coupe of years after the thread started but great info as I needed to remove the rear bumper of my 02 Alhambra so to fit a Basal towbar. As yes, Nikvp instructions worked for that model.

Just to add to the excellent instructions that Nikvp gave, when he says

'Detach the bumper cover side trim panels (wheelhouse liner screws already removed)'

you need to give it a good old tug as the bumper side trim panel is fixed to the body via those horrible 'snap together' clips.

Also do his instructions in sequence or if like me you leave the side trim panel to last, the bumper will fall off once you have given the trim panel a good old 'tug'

Many thanks Nikvp for the info
